Losing your card or having it stolen can be a stressful experience. But don't worry, HausMoney has made it quick and easy to secure your account directly from your phone. Here’s a step-by-step guide on what to do immediately if your HausMoney card goes missing:
Step 1: Log into the HausMoney App
Step 2: Tap on the HausMoney Card image
Once you're on the Home screen, you'll see an image representing your HausMoney card at the top. Simply tap on this image to access your card management options.
Step 3: Tap on Card Details
Step 4: Tap on Report Lost or Stolen Card
Within the Card Details section, you will see an option to report your card as lost or stolen. Tap on "Report Lost or Stolen Card."
Step 5: Select the appropriate option and Submit Report
My card is lost: Choose this option if you've simply misplaced your card and aren't certain it has been stolen.
My card was stolen: Select this if you are sure your card has been taken without your permission.
Tap on the button that accurately reflects your situation and then tap on "Submit Report."
This action will immediately notify HausMoney and begin the process of securing your card by permanently blocking it to prevent unauthorized use.
Important Note: File a Dispute for Unauthorized Transactions
If your card was stolen and you notice any transactions that you did not authorize, it's crucial to File a Dispute.
This process will allow HausMoney to investigate the fraudulent activity and potentially recover the funds. You can find the dispute option within the app's Profile section or by contacting HausMoney directly.
