Think of HausMoney like a credit card. You can use your credit card to buy things at stores or online, but you can't typically use your available credit to directly add funds to your Cash App balance or send money to a friend via Apple Cash.
HausMoney functions similarly. It provides you with a spending limit that you can draw upon for eligible transactions, but these transactions are generally intended for purchasing goods and services, not for direct cash transfers to other individuals through P2P apps.
These P2P platforms are designed to facilitate money transfers, often drawing funds directly from your bank account, debit card, or existing balances within the app. HausMoney, as a credit product, operates on a different mechanism.
Important: You cannot use your HausMoney card number directly with Cash App, PayPal, or Venmo. Instead, link your HausMoney account and routing number to connect these platforms.
Cash App
To use HausMoney with Cash App, link your HausMoney routing and account number as an external bank account:
Open Cash App and tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
Scroll down and tap Linked Banks.
Tap Link Bank.
Search for your bank. If not found, choose to enter your bank details manually.
Enter your HausMoney routing and account numbers.
Verify the account if prompted (Cash App may send micro-deposits to confirm).
For security purposes, Cash App requires you to link a bank-issued debit card before you can link a credit card. You cannot link your HausMoney card number directly — use the routing and account number method above instead.
PayPal
To use HausMoney with PayPal, link your HausMoney routing and account number as a bank account:
On the web:
Go to your PayPal Wallet.
Click Link a card or bank.
Click Link a bank account.
Search for your bank. If not found, click Link your bank another way.
Enter your HausMoney routing and account numbers and click Agree and Link.
On the app:
Tap Accounts.
Tap + next to "Banks and cards."
Tap Banks.
Search for your bank or enter your HausMoney routing and account numbers manually.
PayPal may send 2 small micro-deposits (within 3 business days) to confirm the account.
Venmo
