How to get your HausMoney account set up in Venmo

Adding a Payment Method

How do I add my bank or card to Venmo?

To add a bank account to your Venmo profile from a computer, click here and select "Link Bank Account". Then, follow the instructions on the page.

To add a payment method from the Venmo app:

Go to the Me tab

Go to the Wallet section

Scroll down to Banks and Cards

Swipe to the left and tap on Add a bank

Select manual verification

There are a few important things to keep in mind when you add your payment methods:

Important Note: You should see these deposits/debits in your HausMoney account within 1-3 business days as separate items on your bank statement.

  • Please reach out to us so that we can provide you with the verification code.

Final steps:

  • Once you have the code/amount from the micro-deposits

  • Go to the Me tab

  • In the Wallet section, tap on the bank you want to verify (it should say “Unconfirmed”)

  • Tap Verify and enter the microtransfer code or amounts in the two Code/Amount fields

  • Tap Verify again to finish the process

Once you add a bank account to Venmo, we strongly recommend that you verify it before initiating any transfers. Venmo is not responsible for lost bank transfers as a result of incorrect bank credentials.
