The Hausmoney experience allows you to easily transfer your money to other accounts.
If, for any reason, you need to transfer money from your Hausmoney account to an external account, follow these steps:
Open the Hausmoney app.
Tap on the quick action button Transfer at the top of the Home screen. (You can see an image below)
Enter the amount you want to send.
TRANSFER FROM: Use the dropdown menu to select the HausMoney account from which you're sending money.
TRANSFER TO: Use the dropdown menu to select the external account to which you want to send the money to.
Tap on Transfer.
Tap on Confirm to verify the transfer.
Important Note: Please be careful to select the correct accounts in the drop-down menus.
Once you have completed these steps, the money will be reflected according to the transfer type you selected.
Important Note: Processing times for an external transfer can take 3 - 5 business days due to ACH processing timelines. Expedited or same-day processing options are currently unavailable due to the inherent limitations within the ACH system.
Why does ACH processing take so long?
ACH processing occurs only on business days, excluding weekends and public holidays. Transactions initiated on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day. For example, a transfer initiated late on a Friday may begin processing only on Monday, assuming no public holidays occur on that Monday. Delays may be particularly noticeable during periods with consecutive public holidays or weekends.
With this in mind, the best time to initiate your transfers is Monday-Friday mornings, excluding federal holidays.
Managing Transfer Expectations: If your transfer exceeds the typical timeline of 3–5 business days, consider external factors such as weekends or public holidays.
