What is Easy Mode?
Easy Mode is the setting that lets HausMoney automatically pay off your balance each night using funds from your linked deposit account. With Easy Mode on, you don't need to make manual payments — your purchases are paid off automatically, and your Available to Spend balance already reflects what's been set aside.
🚨 IMPORTANT: If Easy Mode has been turned off, you'll need to pay your balance manually (in the app, from the nightly email, or by your statement due date). If you don't pay by the due date, your card is paused until the balance is paid — no interest and no late fees apply either way.
How to Turn Easy Mode Back On
Log in to your HausMoney Account with your email address and password.
From the Home screen, tap the profile icon in the top-right corner.
Under Account Settings, tap Payment Settings.
If Easy Mode is off, you'll see your current balance and due date along with a Pay button. Below it, tap Turn on Easy Mode instead.
A confirmation screen will explain that we'll pay your balance automatically each night from your linked deposit account, and that amounts vary based on what you spend. Check the box confirming "I authorize these recurring transfers and agree to the Easy Mode Terms".
Tap Turn on Easy Mode.
You'll be returned to the Payment Settings screen, where the Easy Mode toggle will now show On, along with the message: "You're all set. We'll pay your balance automatically each night."
A Note on AutoPay
Easy Mode is HausMoney's version of automatic bill pay — the same automatic-payment concept described as AutoPay in How does HausMoney work?. When a purchase is made, the funds for it are set aside in your account, and at the end of the billing cycle those funds are used to pay your balance automatically — helping you avoid missed payments and keep your credit-building efforts on track.
You can turn Easy Mode off at any time from Profile → Payment Settings.
